Schedules of Condition

Schedules of condition are required for a number of purposes, and it is extremely important that the purpose is fully understood prior to the carrying out of any inspection and the preparation of a schedule.

The detail required can vary depending on the requirements, however, it is important that the appropriate information is recorded in a clear and concise way to ensure that Clients are protected should there be the need to refer to the schedule in the future.

Although a schedule should be a simple record of the condition, it is also important that the reasoning behind any defects are identified. Although the schedule is not a detailed survey, if there are underlying problems, these need to be understood and our building surveyors are fully trained with regards to defect analysis and inspections.
