Station Building, Battle

Lawson Queay Chartered Surveyors were appointed to assess the internal layout of the station and provide a scheme for adapting the premises to suit current working practices. The scheme involved the enlargement of the locker area and muster bay together with the provision of more modern sanitaryware facilities. In addition to these works, full internal redecorations were undertaken together with electrical rewiring. The works had to be specifically programmed to ensure the building remained operational at all times during the contract period.
