Lawson Queay Chartered Surveyors were employed to manage the asbestos removal and rewiring of the station premises. As with all schemes for the Fire and Rescue Service, the building had to remain operational through the entire duration of the scheme. This was achieved by strategic programming at the design stage to ensure that no interruption to the service was experienced.
