The station building at Heathfield was deemed to have limited access for disabled persons. Lawson Queay Chartered Surveyors were commissioned to undertake a study of the building and prepare planning and building regulation proposals for a scheme to improve accessibility into the building. In addition, an extension was designed to provide IT terminals for training and study purposes.
